After spending many hours online searching for something that could help me fulfil my need for building masterful craft pieces from wood i found this god send from Ted McGrath.
And to my surprise i realised if i spend every waking hour from now until the day i die creating the beautiful furniture and plans inside here, Even though the plans are designed to be built easily and fast, i still wouldn’t get them all completed. How sad did that make me feel.
I knew even though i have a completed step by step plan of how to make thousands and thousands of the most beautiful pieces it was never going to happen for me.
So i decide to share this information to you guys in the hope it will lead a few of you’s to get involved 🙂
The thing i wanted to create initially was a dresser so i looked up the dresser plans and found some really good designs so much so it left me with the difficult decision of which one to start building first???
After a few days of deciding i went with a baby dresser design as my sister was having a baby at the time and thought it would be a great first present for my new niece or nephew.
The decision was a good one as it was a gratefully received gift and lead to me having a few of her friends placing orders with me for similar items. What a winner.
My Hobby had suddenly turned in to a possible business venture for me, based around something i actually love doing and i could also get paid very well for it especially with the quality of the items i have been making, following the easy and fast blueprints in teds woodworking blue prints.
I realised very quickly that teds woodworking blue prints not included over the 16,000+ plans but many practical tips that had be garnered from his many, many years experience in the joinery/woodworking trade.
Some of these tips are invaluable, advice on ordering material to make sure you order only what you need to complete your project so there is no surplice, no multi-pule trips to the store cause you forgot something, It helps make the most challenge projects a walk in the park.
Even the more difficult projects for seasoned pros are broken down so someone with only basic experience could give it a good go, the plans are that in depth and easy to follow.
It is definitely worth a look for any home improvement or woodworking or Joinery enthusiast. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t at least give it a little look.
